About Marc
Hello, I'm Marc.
I'm a Brighton-based creative working across photography, music, film and digital technology.
I enjoy bringing ideas to life — whether that's capturing a fleeting moment through a camera, creating a piece of music, telling a story through film or designing and building something people can use.
My journey
A lifelong curiosity for creating.
I've been fascinated by computers and digital technology since childhood, going back to the early days of 8-bit home computers. I loved discovering what could be created with technology — an interest that has stayed with me ever since.
In 1999, I developed MarketTerminal, a pioneering service that brought live stock-market prices and financial news directly into web browsers. That project became KTS PLC, a business I led as CEO and took onto the London Stock Exchange's AIM market.
Photography became another important creative outlet as digital cameras emerged. Over more than twenty years, I've been drawn to atmosphere, changing light, interesting places and the moments that make an image memorable.
My interests have continued to grow into original music, filmmaking and interactive digital products. The common thread is the pleasure of exploring an idea, shaping it carefully and seeing it come to life.
How I work
Ideas deserve thoughtful execution.
I enjoy working out not only how to create something, but what would make it worth creating in the first place.
Sometimes that means developing a visual idea from scratch. Sometimes it's finding a better direction for an established product, designing an intuitive experience or solving a difficult technical problem.
I like understanding the possibilities, making considered choices and refining the details until everything works together. Whether it's a small website or a much more ambitious platform, the same care should go into the result.
What matters to me
Creativity, care and authenticity.
Different projects call for different ways of creating. Music and film offer freedom to imagine entirely new experiences; photography asks me to observe the world carefully and make the most of what was actually there.
In my photographs, I refine tone and contrast while keeping the visual content faithful to the original scene. Whatever the medium, I want the finished work to feel thoughtful, clear and true to its purpose.
